• Beautiful shiny red fruit
• Juicy with a delicious sweet taste
• Firm fruit and therefore not very susceptible to bruising, which ensures good shelf life

Plant characteristics

• Early variety
• Very suitable for tunnel/greenhouse production
• Large flowers that produce attractive coarse fruit
• Deformed strawberries are virtually non-existent
• In terms of production, this variety scores less highly, but the Malling Centenary compensates well for this with its many class I strawberries
• Malling Centenary is susceptible to root diseases
