Plant characteristics

• Early variety
• High picking speed due to open plant structure and long trusses, which contain an average of 6 well-branched flowers
• Upright calyx
• Suitable for the Mediterranean climate; in southern Spain, Fandango plants must be planted before October 15
• Moderately tolerant to powdery mildew
• Fairly resistant to Phytophthora cactorum (stem base rot)
• Susceptible to Verticilium spp., although no problems have been observed in practice to date
