Elsanta is one of the most widely grown varieties for double cropping in greenhouses in north-western Europe.
The June-bearing variety is known for its long and firm clusters with large fruits.
The fruits are strong and therefore not susceptible to bruising. This also ensures a good shelf life.

The fruits have a strong strawberry aroma and a good flavour, are conical in shape and have a shiny, red colour. Elsanta can be used for different types of cultivation, both indoors and outdoors.
