Erasmus is the first 100% male purple asparagus. Suitable for cultivation in northern, central, and southern Europe. Erasmus is an early variety with a very high yield.
Cultivation
Erasmus is suitable for the cultivation of purple asparagus, including in tunnels/mini-tunnels. The recommended plant density is 5-6 plants per linear meter.

Purple asparagus produces a tall-growing crop. We recommend that you take measures to support the crop, such as ploughing up ridges after harvesting.
